Meet the Team
Ligara Farms is a family-owned business, run by Susan Crenshaw and her two daughters, Caitlin and Kirsten.

We are proud of our beautiful and functional equestrian facility. Ligara Farms is a place where riders can develop their skills and enjoy their horses, and horses can thrive and evolve in a safe and nurturing home.

Services

Training five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday Training includes a combination of lessons and trainer rides, to be determined upon trainer evaluation of rider and horse

Daily administration of supplements and medications

Personalized nutrition program with 3 feedings a day

Stall cleaning 2 x day

Turn-out 7 days a week for box stalls/2 days a week for paddock stalls

Blanketing/un-blanketing

Minor injury care, management and rehabilitation

Staff on-site 24 hours a day

Farrier and veterinarian scheduling (includes all worming and injections)

The main barn stables 21 horses in roomy, 12’ x 12’ stalls, most with a personal paddock

The east barn has eight generous 12’ x 16’ stall s each has a full-time paddock attached and six 12 x 14 stalls with personal paddock.

A world-class, Kraft Horse exerciser (see Links). We are one of a very few facilities in the bay area offering this beautiful machine.

A lovely wood-chip track that borders 90% of the 10-acre perimeter fence line at Ligara Farms. Wonderful for cooling out, warming up, or just enjoying a peaceful walk with your horse.
